No Eyes: Live at eyedrum Jan. 16, 2021

It’s a cold night in the height of winter, we set up No Eyes in sea of junkyard cars, aka the future eyedrum space. There’s no heat, no lights, no walls, holes in the floor. In-real-life art and music shows have ceased all over the world. What do we do? A live show to an audience of three, plus cameras. No Eyes, live in the eyedrum construction zone.

Ride or die? No Eyes is more like, perform or die. Eyedrum, program or die. It’s a reciprocal relationship eyedrum has maintained for decades. A pandemic can’t stop that. Also on the bill, Kebbie Williams & Wolf Pack. These are art warriors.

eyedrum: What were some of your biggest challenges through the pandemic. How have you been coping, not being able to play shows? Have you been able to play live?

No Eyes: I got together with others who wanted to play or host events online and played alot of streams so I have been playing live but this still just doesn't replace playing shows with IRL human interaction. I was easily able to adapt because I knew eventually I would get to play shows again in venues, once the time was appropriate and right.

eyedrum: Name your top 3 candy bars.

No eyes: I don't eat candy bars but my favorite candy is, Kasugai Strawberry Gummy Candies, kiwi Hi chew, Suntory C. C. Lemon the Soda

eyedrum: What's next?

No Eyes: Just played a show in Time Square and am playing a show here in Atlanta at 529 July 17th. I also will have an EP coming out in Japan on kool switch coming very soon so be on the lookout.
